Gunnar Lind

M.Sc. Civ. Eng. Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) 1970, Civil economist HHS 1970, Ph.D. Transportation and Logistics KTH 1997. Gunnar has 38 years of professional experience with research and investigation of traffic and transport from the Swedish Road Administration, Ministry of Communications, Tech Univ Munich, SL, Transek and since 2004, Movea Trafikkonsult AB.

Gunnar is well known in the transport industry and has extensive experience of road and traffic investigations focused on traffic engineering and national economy. Gunnar has contributed greatly to the building of socioeconomic methods for roads, public transportation, ITS and bicycle traffic. He received his doctorate in 1997 on the subject of Strategic Assessment of Intelligent Transport Systems and is nationally and internationally engaged as an expert on the effects of various ITS projects.
